Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American actress and musician. Her first release was funny, well-written music that tackled questions of racial identity and sexuality. She then expanded her fan base to Hollywood. The actress was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrant parents from Forest Hills Queens her first encounter with the world of music was in the form of trumpet. After classical and Jazz training, she delved into hip-hop as a teen. After concentrating on education, she graduated with a degree in journalism in college and a women's studies major. Following graduation, she decided to concentrate on music. Her My Vag song, My Vag which was her response to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick, became a popular viral sensation via the Internet and later appeared on her debut album Yellow Ranger. It also included other hit songs that went viral, such as the body-positive Queef and winking hometown tour NYC Bitche$1. The third track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide published in the year 2015, and was an additional project. The resume of her included author and musician. She was now looking for a new career path in acting. Alongside early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk she was also in films such as Neighbors 2, Storks as well as Bad Rap. In 2018 she was able to land major roles in a variety of high-profile movies like Dude Ocean's 8, and Crazy Rich Asians. In June she dropped her debut EP "In Fina We Trust".
