Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan), is the child of Wayne David Cardellini (a successful businessman). Linda is of Italian origins (her paternal grandfather), Irish, German, English and Scottish (her mother). Linda was the eldest child of California, grew up around the San Francisco Bay Area. When she was in her tenth grade she started to become interested in acting when performing in a play at school. She did school and community shows. Linda was a student at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California. Following her graduation Linda was forced to decide which one she would prefer to relocate in New York or Los Angeles to study theatre. Linda decided to move to LA. Linda was initially cast as a character on Bone Chillers (1996). Freaks and Geeks, 1999 was her breakthrough role. In the acclaimed series she played the role of decathlete Lindsay Weir. The show was awarded the Emmy Award under the category of Outstanding Casting Comedy Series.

Lily James is a stage name given to Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress born 5 April 1989. She studied at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and made her debut on the British television show Just William (2010). Cinderella (2015) was her first film following the time she portrayed the role of Lady Rose MacClare (2012-2015) in Downton Abbey, a time-based drama. James was later cast as Countess Natasha Rostova for the television adaptation War & Peace (2016). Also, he appeared in Baby Driver (2017) and in the period dramatics Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (18) as well as The Dig (2021), as well as musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Again 2018 and Yesterday (2019). The portrayal she gave of Pamela Anderson for the biographical show Pam & Tommy in 2022 earned her Golden Globes and the Primetime Emmy Awards.
